Show what you’re capable of! 120 children and young people from Wilhelmsburg and neighbouring districts had the opportunity to discover and express their identity in dance. The flash mob took place in front of the Hamburg Town Hall and on the Jungfernstieg – and thrilled both onlookers and dancers.

I am quite disciplined. If I start something I see it through to the end. I like working in a team and taking responsibility. (Dilan, 10e)

I got on very well with the group so I regard myself as a cooperative and good team player. I also worked independently. During these 2 days I just let my creativity flow freely. (Fitore)

No-one strays off course here! In this Dance Flash Mob 6th graders from the District School Wilhelmsburg developed their dancing and choreographical skills, at the same time learning important comprehension and presentation basics. So, full steam ahead to new self-confidence:

What I liked best was that we could see from our certificates where our strengths lie. I discovered I had courage, creativity and team spirit. (Irem)

How do you dance Water, Earth, Fire and Air?
70 pupils from the 7th to 9th grades took up this challenge and worked out a choreography around the four elements. You can judge for yourself how many new talents the young people discovered they had after their final public performance:

During these two days I showed team spirit during the many preparations we worked on in teams. Our various performances showed our decision-making abilities and creativity. Our team proved its commitment and also its ability to put on a really good performance. (Ahmed, M8, 8th grade)
